Anger Management
Anger management is one of the areas that I have worked on since the very beginning of my career. My experience includes working with client’s who decide that anger is having a negative impact on their relationships, including their work, personal and family relationships.
Some clients find themselves working on this issue following an initial separation. Some clients seek out anger management counselling after charges of assault, whether they are on probation or pre-trail.
Whatever the reason, all clients are treated with the utmost respect and dignity as they work on these challenges issues. A cognitive- behavioral approach is used with anger management which has been shown to be the most effective.
Some clients also benefit from a letter which may be used in court and submitted to a Crown Attorney or a probation officer, depending on where the client is in the process.
Clients have often shared that they are able to better appreciate their interpersonal relationships, social relationships and work relationships more after taking anger management.
